Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training programs for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. You will educate clinicians and administrative staff on effective EMR use to ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and regulatory compliance.

You will create training materials, conduct hands-on sessions, and provide ongoing support while assessing training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• EPIC Certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 10 years instructional designer, credentialed trainer, educator, or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop EMR training programs for clinicians and administrative staff.
• Create training materials, videos, tip sheets, and presentations.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions and provide ongoing support.
• Assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Lead workflow analyses and advise on educational components for large projects.
• Provide administrative support for Curriculum Review Board meetings.
