Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks an experienced trainer to develop and deliver EMR training for clinicians and staff. You will create materials, run hands-on sessions, and assess effectiveness to promote accurate data entry and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include onboarding education, process improvements, and maintaining educational resources while supporting large projects and CRB activities. A strong teaching background is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7 years related work experience.
• EPIC Certification required on hire.
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding education for new hires.
• Evaluate lessons learned and implement improvements.
• Create and update EMR training resources (tip sheets, videos, presentations).
• Provide administrative support for Curriculum Review Board (CRB) meetings.
• Maintain EMR training environment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Lead workflow analysis and feasibility reviews for large-scale projects.
