Job summary

Hamilton Pointe Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Electronic Medical Records Coordinator (RN/LPN) to support accurate clinical documentation, educate nursing staff, and perform audits. This role focuses on teaching, auditing, and ensuring compliance to maintain high standards of resident care.

As EMR Coordinator, you will train staff on EMR usage, monitor records for completeness, and collaborate with leadership to uphold regulatory requirements and quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing license (RN or LPN).
• Strong knowledge of nursing documentation and EMR.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Experience with audits and education of staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintenance and administration of the clinical records program.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on EMR and documentation.
• Complete routine clinical documentation audits and follow-up education.
• Monitor records for accuracy, completion, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist new nurses with EMR training and documentation expectations.
• Work with DON and leadership to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain organized audit and education records.
• Ensure documentation supports regulatory requirements.
