Hamilton Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Electronic Medical Records Coordinator (RN/LPN) to support accurate clinical documentation and educate nursing staff. This role collaborates with nursing leadership to audit records and uphold high resident-care standards.

The position emphasizes teaching, audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with daily interaction across disciplines and ongoing EMR training for new staff.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Experience teaching and training nursing staff.
• Familiar with electronic medical records and documentation.
• Knowledge of nursing documentation standards.
• Experience in long-term or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and training to nursing staff on EMR and documentation.
• Complete routine clinical documentation audits.
• Identify documentation concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor records for accuracy, completion, and compliance.
• Assist new nurses with EMR training and expectations.
• Work with DON and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized audit and education records.
