Job summary

Hamilton Pointe Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Electronic Medical Records Coordinator (RN/LPN) to support accurate clinical documentation and ongoing education for nursing staff. In this role you will audit records, provide EMR training, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the DON and leadership to promote high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex documentation into teaching

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience educating staff on EMR/documentation.
• Knowledge of nursing documentation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and training to nursing staff on EMR and documentation.
• Perform routine clinical documentation audits.
• Identify documentation concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist new nurses with EMR training and expectations.
• Maintain organized audit and education records.
• Collaborate with the DON and leadership on documentation.
