Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley seeks a motivated retail team member to perform storefront duties, engage customers, and process transactions. You will help accept merchandise donations, price items, and ensure quality standards across textiles and goods.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining displays, and supporting store operations with a positive attitude. Prior experience in retail or cashiering is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, and customer service preferred but not required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving or stock duties is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition while assisting with purchases.
• Operate cash register accurately and process transactions.
• Inspect donated textiles and goods for saleability and price accordingly.
• Load, sort, stock, and display donations and merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety in accordance with guidelines.
