Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is seeking a retail associate to support store operations in Springfield, OH. The role involves merchandising, cashiering, donation intake, and customer service to help empower people in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Retail sales and cashiering experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition when servicing customers.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently (receipts, payments, discounts).
• Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, and other donated goods to determine saleability.
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors.
• Perform stock duties such as sorting and hanging garments and maintaining displays.
