Job summary

Home Life is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a Fri-Mon 2:30p-10:30p shift in Corvallis, Oregon. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and participate in the community.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the residential team to ensure safety and quality of life. A high school diploma and driving privileges are required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass an initial criminal history check and rechecks every 2 years.
• Citizen or legally able to work in the United States.
• Must be at least eighteen years old with a valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to complete required training and annual training.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Assistant Program or Program Manager and adhere to Home Life policies.
• Document working hours accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Work as a team with other staff to provide high-quality services.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff, families, and supervisors as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings; support individuals safely and respectfully.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities to promote independence and community inclusion.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and equipment in good working order.
