Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Balch Springs, Texas, seeks a Special Education Teacher to empower diverse learners. You will collaborate with ARD committees to design IEPs and deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.

Required: Bachelor's in Special Education or related field and TEA EC-12 certification; knowledge of IDEA and ARD processes; CPR certification preferred. We offer starting pay at $40/hour, flexible schedules, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through TEA is required.
• Knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA, and familiarity with ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress with data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies.
• Address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs with individualized support.
