Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, share results with parents and district personnel, and develop evidence-based interventions to improve communication, participation, and access to education.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, monitor progress, and maintain detailed records to adjust treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
