Job summary

Mirage Post Acute is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapy team in delivering resident-focused care. The PTA will assist the Staff Physical Therapist with treatment, ensure documentation compliance, and maintain a safe and effective therapy environment.

Requirements include an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, proficiency with Net Health/PointClickCare software, and valid California PTA licensure where applicable.

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the physical therapist to update physicians and staff on progress.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
