KenCrest is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist to support its Employment Program and Leadership Team. This role involves mobile and hybrid work, guiding individuals with I/DD toward meaningful employment and sustainable independence.

The position emphasizes on-the-job training, relationship-building with employers, and person-centered planning, with a path toward professional growth within a supportive agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Experience working with the I/DD population preferred.
• ACRE Certification preferred (or must complete within 6 months) and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training for consumers.
• Build positive relationships with community employers.
• Identify strengths of individuals served to support employment success.
• Encourage personal choice and decision making for job placement and retention.
