Job summary

KenCrest is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to provide on-site supported employment services for individuals with disabilities across multiple locations in the Northeast region. The role involves coaching participants, coordinating with the IRT, and ensuring accommodations and workplace readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 3 years of supported employment experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and credentials such as ACRE or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in Supported Employment services required.
• Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.
• ACRE certification or Certified Employment Support Professional accreditation required.
• Experience in Customized Employment and Self-Employment supports required.
• Extensive business and community contacts desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site supported employment services for participants during hiring, onboarding and training.
• Collaborate with the IRT to tailor participant supports.
• Provide job coaching to acclimate participants to the worksite and tasks.
• Identify and implement accommodations, assistive tech and job aids.
• Promote universal design and natural supports based on abilities.
• Attend IRT meetings and monitor progress toward stability.
• Collect data and maintain records to report outcomes.
• Use digital tools for remote coaching to support on-the-job success.
