Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Experience working with the I/DD population preferred.
• ACRE Certification preferred (or must complete within 6 months) and valid driver’s license required.

**Supported I/DD Employment Specialist** Full Time, Flexible Schedule (days, evenings and weekends) Hybrid Position (mobile / remote) KenCrest is seeking a **Supported I/DD Employment Specialist** to support our Employment Program and its Leadership Team. Our Employment Department works to create a streamlined process to assist our consumers every step of the way as they navigate through the progression of finding and maintaining gainful employment. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and able to work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities, interested in a mobile and independent position, has experience with Self-Employment/Entrepreneurship or systematic Instruction and/or teaching. As our **Supported I/DD Employment Specialist**, you will provide on-the-job training for your consumers, build positive professional relationships with community employers, develop relationships with individuals served to identify strengths that can contribute to their overall success, and encourage personal choice and decision making.
