Job summary

KCS KenCrest Services is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist for a full-time hybrid role. You will support the Employment Program by assisting clients with disabilities in finding and maintaining gainful employment.

Your responsibilities include providing on-the-job training, building relationships with employers, and developing individual strengths to promote personal choice. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and experience with the I/DD population.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field (preferred).
• Experience working with the I/DD population (preferred).
• ACRE Certification (preferred; otherwise completion required within six months of hire).
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

Full Time, Flexible Schedule (days, evenings and weekends). Hybrid Position (mobile / remote). KenCrest seeks a self‑motivated individual to support our Employment Program and Leadership Team, assisting clients with disabilities to find and maintain gainful employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑the‑job training to consumers.
• Build positive professional relationships with community employers.
• Develop relationships with individuals served to identify strengths that contribute to their overall success.
• Encourage personal choice and decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field (preferred).
• Experience working with the I/DD population (preferred).
• ACRE Certification (preferred; otherwise completion required within six months of hire).
