Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities at Beech Ave IRA, Flushing, NY 11355. You will provide hands-on care and support daily living activities to help clients thrive in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include personal care, health and wellness support, mobility assistance, and documentation in electronic systems. A High School diploma and NY driver’s license are required; compassionate, patient individuals are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency diploma required.
• Fluent in English for client communication.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience (required for driving positions).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals you support.
• Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and home safety.
• Administer medications as directed and accompany medical appointments.
• Support mobility and navigation with walking and mobility aids.
• Plan and participate in community, recreational, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic systems.
