Job summary

Venture Community Services provides support to individuals facing diverse challenges through a compassionate and dedicated workforce using innovative practices that encourage independence, empowerment, and opportunity.

The Direct Support Professional position offers a new pay rate of $17.50-$19.00 per hour with paid training provided by Venture, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff (and $500 for part-time).

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, personal care, and transportation as needed.
• Help individuals access medical appointments, banking, and community activities per plans.
