Job summary

Hope Network seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Milleville Place in Lapeer, MI. This full-time, 3rd shift role involves helping individuals achieve independence through daily living support, community activities, and health monitoring.

The DSP will assist with personal care, transport, appointments, and documentation, collaborating with a care team to promote safety, dignity, and community involvement. A valid MI driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Direct Support / Care Giver experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and community participation.
• Support safety, crisis prevention, and monitoring 24/7.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information to the care team.
• Encourage independence and social engagement in the community.
