Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license and maintain driver status.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing guidance and support to individuals to encourage independence.
• Assist with self-care, health, safety, chores, and social activities.
• Follow treatment plans and use adaptive equipment as needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Mentor new Direct Support Staff and participate in meetings.
