Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs in facility settings, following established recovery plans and delivering treatments that restore independence. You will work closely with the Director of Rehab and care teams to support patient-centered goals.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care in diverse settings and includes professional development opportunities and ongoing mentorship to advance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to restore independence and functional abilities.

Education

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure
