Qualifications

• High School Equivalency diploma or equivalent is required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc.
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery in individual and small groups.
• Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during activities and transitions.
• Perform basic clerical tasks for the classroom teacher (typing, filing, inventory, ordering supplies).
• Assist with field trips, fire drills, and other classroom events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
