Job summary

Early Learning Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks a Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in literacy and math skills. You’ll work with a teacher, deliver proven activities, and coach students daily to build confidence and a love of learning.

AmeriCorps members receive a biweekly stipend and opportunities for education awards. Positions are based in Minnesota with a schedule aligned to school hours; training and coaching are provided to help you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school’s on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
