Job summary

Early Learning Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in developing early literacy and math skills. You will work alongside a teacher, delivering proven activities and coaching students to build confidence in learning.

You will receive training, tracking of progress, and regular coaching. This AmeriCorps position offers a daytime, weekday schedule with benefits and education support.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to complete a background check.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experience with the community.
