Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor in Minnesota to join the Early Learning Corps in a classroom setting. You will help pre-K students build early literacy and math skills, delivering proven activities and receiving coaching and training.

Work involves collaborating with a teacher, engaging children through talking, reading, singing, and play to ignite a love of learning, with a stipend-based hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States; able to pass a background check.
• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
