Job summary

Integrated Resource Institute in Canoga Park, CA is seeking an Employment Coach to mentor individuals with developmental disabilities and support job development across the San Fernando Valley/Los Angeles County area.

You will help with resume building, practice interviews, transportation, and connecting clients with community employers, while fostering meaningful daily schedules and inclusive employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Job development and on-the-job support experience preferred.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities in community settings preferred.
• Strong organization, communication and writing skills; proficient with computers/online platforms.
• Positive behavior support training experience preferred.
• Commitment to inclusion and integrated employment.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provides mentorship and supports to help individuals obtain competitive employment.
• Develops integrated work schedules and identifies suitable employment settings.

• Collaborates with employers and sites to secure job placements.
