Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a dedicated Success Coach to support associates through life and work coaching, career counseling, and comprehensive case management. You will coordinate with Workforce Development, partners, and community resources to help individuals move toward retention and growth.

As part of People Operations, you will maintain IDP cycles, build empowering relationships, and refer associates to additional services.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in case management is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
Ability to analyze opportunities and problems and develop effective approaches.
Ability to plan, implement and evaluate achievement goals and work plans.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the associates’ IDP cycle—planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating actions to meet accommodation, retention and growth needs.
Develop positive empowering relationships with associates through coaching and education.
Promote GWH programs to raise awareness of career and life advancement opportunities.
Be fluent in the evidence-based career navigation model and GWH career pathways.
Provide referrals to community resources and pre-schedule meetings as needed.
Document coaching and activities in electronic case management systems.
Coordinate with associates and pre-schedule meetings; refer to outside training or social services.
