Job summary

Cobb County School District is seeking a Supervisor, Employee Support to lead the ADA interactive process for employees requesting workplace accommodations. You will ensure timely, compliant administration of accommodations and related leave support, coordinating with Benefits, Leaves, Risk Management, and Legal Counsel as needed.

In this role, you will supervise staff, maintain confidential records, and partner with district leadership to uphold policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• Georgia Leadership Certificate is required.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with disability/leave management or ADA coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and related regulations; confidentiality is essential.
• Alternative qualifications may be accepted per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the ADA interactive process from intake to resolution.
• Reviews documentation and coordinates dialogue among employees, supervisors, and admins.
• Assesses requested accommodations against essential job functions and recommends options.
• Maintains confidential case files and tracks timelines for compliance.
• Supervises staff supporting accommodation and employee support functions.
• Provides guidance on interactive process and training to stakeholders.
• Coordinates with Benefits, Leaves, Risk Management, and Legal Counsel as needed.
• Develops procedures for accommodation requests and reporting.
