Job summary

FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, MI, seeks a Team Member Relations Investigator to support a high-energy, compliant HR environment. You will handle employee relations matters, investigations, and grievance processes while coordinating with security, tribal authorities, and management to protect team members and uphold company policies.

The role requires a two-year degree in HR or related field, or four years of investigative experience in lieu of degree, and a strong command of English.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
• Two-year degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Four years investigative or Employee Relations experience may substitute the degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Members in resolving work-related and personal problems by communicating with management and external support groups.
• Implement exit interviews and Team Member satisfaction initiatives.
• Coordinate rewards and recognition programs with the Service Culture team.
• Manage the internal Board of Review grievance process for Team Members and management.
• Organize unemployment hearing materials and act as a representative in hearings.
• Maintain knowledge of Policies and Procedures relating to Team Member rights for management and staff.
• Provide information regarding the Team Member Assistance Program and refer when necessary.
• Conduct investigations into Team Member harassment claims with thorough documentation.
