Little River Casino Resort in Michigan is seeking an HR Representative to support recruitment, records, team member relations, and benefits administration while delivering excellent guest service. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 year degree in Business or related field and 1 year experience in Human Resources or 2 years' experience as a Human Resources Representative
• Working experience in at least two of the Human Resources functions
• Working experience in the development, implementation, and maintaining of policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Title VII, ADEA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and ERISA
• Experience with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred

Responsabilités

• Must be capable of performing the job specifications of a HR Representative.
• Provides accurate reports on team members’ headcount, current team members, turnover, leaves of absence, and other reports as required.
• Initiates and process performance appraisal paperwork.
• Maintains regular correspondence with the Gaming Commission in accordance with Chapter 4 Regulations.
• Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures.
• Coordinates and tracks applications and hiring campaigns in the recruiting module of the HR database.
• Coordinates recruiting efforts from job requisition to new hire onboarding, including background reference checks on jobs and education for internal and external candidates.
• Attends and assists with coordination of Resort and external career fairs.
• Creates and maintains internal and external employment opportunity communications.
