Job summary

Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO is expanding its Human Resources team with a brand-new Employee Relations Manager role. You’ll partner with leaders to strengthen performance management, leadership development, investigations, and culture across 500+ employees.

Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will advise supervisors, coach managers on discipline and engagement, and help shape policies and programs that foster a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience in coaching and performance management.
• Ability to conduct HR investigations and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to employees and managers to foster positive working relationships and coach on policies.
• Advise supervisors on corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee performance management processes and document performance and career growth.
• Lead workplace investigations and coordinate responses to complaints.
• Support new employee onboarding and orientation.
• Develop and communicate Metro policies on discipline and employment actions.
