Job summary

Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to strengthen our leadership, culture, and workplace practices. You will partner with leaders across the organization to elevate performance management, investigations, engagement, and organizational culture.

This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and requires building programs, advising leaders, and serving as a trusted HR partner for a workforce of 500+ employees.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience coaching supervisors on performance management.
• Ability to conduct HR investigations and resolve employee concerns.
• Ability to explain policies and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to employees and managers, guiding policy adherence and fair practices.
• Coach supervisors on corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee performance management and calibration processes.
• Review employee surveys and feedback with leadership to drive engagement and accountability.
• Coach and train supervisors through Supervisory Academy and leadership programs.
• Conduct workplace investigations and coordinate responses to complaints.
• Support onboarding and new employee orientation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
