Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Employee Relations Specialist to join a Paarl-based team in a hybrid role. You will investigate grievances, guide managers on policies, and develop strategies to improve engagement and retention.

You will ensure compliance with SA labor law, facilitate mediation, and analyze trends to recommend proactive solutions, shaping a fair and productive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, or related field.
• 4+ years in employee relations or related HR role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and IR principles.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a timely and objective manner.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
• Develop and implement proactive strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies related to employee conduct and workplace fairness.
• Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution processes.
• Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions.
