Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Specialist, Employee Relations to conduct investigations, advise managers on corrective action, and ensure consistent application of HR policies across locations.

The role requires experience in employee relations, strong communication, and the ability to work in a multi-site, regulated industry. Prior union experience and a bilingual skill set are considered assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM Workplace Investigations Certificate.
• Experience advising managers on corrective action, documentation, and performance management.
• Experience with unionized workforces and applying CBA provisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective, timely investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, misconduct, and other ER matters.
• Interview parties, analyze evidence, and prepare findings and investigation reports.
• Provide ER guidance to People Business Partners and managers.
• Track and close cases and monitor trends to flag risks.
