Job summary

Covista, America's largest healthcare educator, seeks a Senior Specialist – Employee Relations (CRC) to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners in a hybrid Chicago setting. You will manage complex cases, conduct investigations, and ensure legally compliant, employee-centered resolutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 4+ years in employee relations investigations, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years in employee relations investigations.
• Advanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Strong interviewing, documentation and fact-finding skills.
• PHR or SHRM credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations, ADA accommodations, FMLA and leave administration.
• Serve as trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners on compliance and policy interpretation.
• Lead investigations involving harassment, discrimination and workplace misconduct; provide findings and recommendations.
• Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Analyze trends, maintain compliant case documentation, and train leaders on best practices.
• Review and draft employment-related documentation including disciplinary actions and separation summaries.
