Job summary

Cogent, Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator in Riverside, Missouri to manage work orders, coordinate parts, and schedule field activities with Shop Service teams.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce. You will support customers and drive efficient service delivery while working in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or vocational degree in mechanics, industrial engineering, or construction management or equivalent experience.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in task execution.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders for shop technicians to perform work on equipment.
• Acquire documents for technicians (parts list, diagrams).
• Review inspections and prepare customer inspection reports.
• Attain pricing from vendors and subcontractors for repair/replacement pricing.
• Procure parts, equipment, and tools; track purchase orders.
• Schedule jobs with the Shop Service Manager.
• Update customers and sales team on job status.
• Coordinate with sales/service teams to ensure orders are managed with excellence.
