Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager in the Marketing department to lead our proposal development efforts, write and coordinate responses, and ensure timely submittals. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and drive cross-functional collaboration with legal, accounting, and other departments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong InDesign skills, and 7+ years of marketing for professional services. ESOP culture and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• AEC industry experience.
• 7+ years in marketing of professional services.
• Advanced proficiency in InDesign.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate the team.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical writing and proposal drafting, submittals, and related marketing materials.
• Manage assigned staff and coordinate inputs and reviews.
• Maintain and drive the proposal schedule to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with Legal, Accounting, and Marketing to improve communications for proposals.
• Guide and motivate the proposal team to deliver high-quality responses under pressure.
