Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Texas to serve as the technical information source for the project, with strong knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to questions on drawings, specs, shop drawings, and change orders, while collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, and suppliers.

The role offers a clear progression (I, II, Senior) with opportunities for supervision and training of Field Engineers, plus industry-leading

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; ability to supervise Field Engineer positions if required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Project Management Plan components and change management process.
• Develop procurement schedule and integrate with project CPM schedule; coordinate submittals.
• Administer budgeting and cost control; maintain As-built documents and close-out requirements.
• Prepare and review change orders and cost control budget adjustments; maintain logs.
