Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services seeks an Employee Life Cycle (HR) Manager for the Chardon Healthcare Center in Chardon, OH. Lead recruitment, onboarding, engagement, training, and staff retention as the facility's employee advocate.

The role oversees onboarding via Workday, employee orientation, benefits enrollment, and yearly payroll processes, with a focus on creating Caring Communities and strong staff relations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruitment/retention experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SmartLinx, Kronos) is highly preferred.
• Experience with employee orientation/onboarding is highly desired.
• Experience in unionized environments.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit talent to meet staffing needs established with leadership.
• Coordinate interviews with department leaders and offer positions to qualified candidates.
• Ensure completion of pre-hire requirements and onboarding through Workday.
• Conduct new employee orientation per established process.
• Manage employee engagement events, including budget and town halls.
• Act as employee advocate on policy/benefits questions and direct inquiries.
• Oversee employee training using Relias and reporting.
• Coordinate annual open benefit enrollment and off-boarding.
