Ohio CAT is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support the administration of employee relations programs across Ohio Machinery Co. You will advise leaders and employees on workplace concerns, performance management, and policy interpretation while handling confidential investigations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years HR experience including employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Strong communication, discretion, and ability to interpret employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for employees and leaders on workplace concerns and policies.
• Provide guidance on performance management, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct timely workplace investigations and prepare summaries.
• Interviews with employees and witnesses; document findings.
• Maintain confidentiality throughout investigation processes.
• Identify trends and contribute to improved employee engagement.
