Job summary

Enthusiast Auto Holdings in Northeast Ohio is seeking an HR Generalist – Employee Relations to support a broad employee-relations program. You will partner with managers and staff to address workplace concerns, coach on performance, and ensure policy interpretation is consistent across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of HR experience with employee relations exposure.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trust with employees and managers.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving in sensitive situations.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with commitment to fairness and positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for employee relations matters across the organization.
• Coach managers on performance, attendance, conduct, and behavior.
• Assist in investigations with documentation and interviews.
• Explain HR policies and procedures for consistency.
• Support corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace culture and timely resolutions.
• Identify trends and provide insights to HR leadership.
• Co-facilitate onboarding and orientation programs.
• Support performance management cycles and goal setting.
• Assist in manager training on ER topics and policy compliance.
• Contribute to learning materials and resources.
• Maintain confidential employee records in the HR system.
• Respond to HR inquiries and support policy updates.
• Generate basic HR reports and dashboards.
• Assist with additional HR initiatives and projects.
