Job summary

Criterion Executive Search, Inc. is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team.

You will serve as the primary contact for employee benefits clients, managing renewals, carrier relationships, and day-to-day service needs while delivering exceptional client support. You will coordinate renewals, negotiate with carriers, and support open enrollment, employee communications, and claims resolution.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Life & Health Insurance License required.
• 4+ years of employee benefits account management experience.
• Knowledge of group medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Experience with agency management and benefits administration systems (Epic and Employee Navigator preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of employee benefits accounts.
• Serve as the primary client service contact.
• Coordinate renewals, carrier negotiations, and plan changes.
• Assist with open enrollment, employee communications, and claims resolution.
• Partner with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain compliance with applicable employee benefits regulations.
