Job summary

Upbring is seeking an Employee Accommodations Specialist to support employees and leaders with workplace accommodations, return-to-work coordination, and wellbeing initiatives. You will help manage ADA and PWFA processes, ensure compliant record-keeping, and partner across departments to reduce risk while supporting a compassionate employee experience.

You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance to maintain accurate documentation, monitor trends, and drive improvements in safety,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and case management systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of ADA, PWFA, HIPAA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for workplace accommodations and return-to-work inquiries.
• Manage the interactive process for accommodation requests (ADA, PWFA) and document outcomes.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation in HRIS and case management systems.
• Provide guidance to leaders on accommodation processes and compliance.
• Coordinate return-to-work and stay-at-work efforts with stakeholders.
• Track progress and ensure timely follow-ups on employee matters.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, brokers and vendors for consistent practices.
