Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of the South, Inc. dba Upbring is seeking an Employee Accommodations Specialist in Austin, TX. You will guide ADA/PWFA processes, manage accommodation cases, coordinate return-to-work, and support wellbeing initiatives across departments to reduce risk and improve employee experience.

Applicants should have HR experience, strong communication, confidentiality, and familiarity with HRIS systems; bilingual Spanish is a plus, and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in HR, case management, or related function.
• Knowledge of accommodations processes (ADA, PWFA) and leave/workers' compensation basics.
• Experience handling confidential matters with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for workplace accommodations and return-to-work inquiries.
• Manage interactive process for accommodation requests and document outcomes.
• Coordinate return-to-work/stay-at-work and liaise with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain compliant records in HRIS and case management systems.
• Support employee wellbeing programs and safety initiatives.
