Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Patient Care Coordinator to assist physicians in delivering complex health services in the clinic. This role is based in Vero Beach, FL, and involves front desk receptionist duties, greeting patients, and ensuring accurate check-in and timely preparation for appointments.

You will schedule appointments, keep on-time schedules, retrieve and file records in the EMR, collect payments, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or in a healthcare clinic.
• Experience in podiatric or orthopedic settings preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience preferred.
• EMR experience, Athenahealth preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, professional demeanor with patients.
• Reliable, with stable work history and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, greet patients, obtain required information.
• Schedule appointments and maintain on-time clinic flow.
• Retrieve, file, and scan patient records into EMR.
• Collect payments and manage office supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
