Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks an EMI/EMC Engineer to design, test, and verify EMI/EMC performance for military and commercial systems. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in EMI/EMC engineering.

You will collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems teams while supporting tests at multiple locations, with opportunities for professional growth within RTX. This is an onsite-based role in Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications

• EMI/EMC analysis design and / or test.
• Experience with MATLAB, ANSYS / HFSS or CST Microwave.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMI/EMC testing to verify compliance with E3 requirements and relevant military standards.
• Analyze test results and identify electromagnetic interference issues affecting system performance.
• Develop EMI/EMC test plans, procedures, and detailed technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineering teams on design and integration.
• Troubleshoot complex electromagnetic problems and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Serve as a technical interface with customers during requirements reviews, test events, and technical discussions.
• Ensure all products meet E3 standards and support necessary design tradeoffs and risk assessments.
• Support test execution at local, domestic, and international locations as required.
