WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Bridge Inspection, Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, with offices in Boston, MA; Worcester, MA; Glastonbury, CT; Merrimack, NH and Providence, RI. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of post-education experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection.
• Interest in structures/transportation and willingness to develop skills for WSP projects.
• Physically capable of field work, heights, adverse weather, and night work.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
• Valid driver’s license and ensure MVR check.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on inspection projects with our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team.
• Participate in Bridge, Tunnel & Ancillary inspections as a team member.
• Assist in preparing Bridge & Tunnel load ratings.
• Assist with AutoCAD-based plans and sketches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project tasks.
• Support engineering tasks and skill development.
• Learn basic bridge and transportation engineering principles.
• Assist with project research, fieldwork, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support cost proposals and scope of work documentation.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Complete assignment-specific training.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and policies.
