Job summary

Truist in Nashville is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Analyst to apply finance and credit analysis in a fast-paced commercial banking environment. Under supervision, you will support financial analysis, risk assessment, compliance tracking, and portfolio management for new business and existing clients.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 0-1+ years of related financial services work experience.
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of business, finance, and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower financial statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
• Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and key risks impacting borrower performance.
• Prepare credit memoranda presenting transaction structure, risk assessment, mitigants, and clear credit recommendations.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance assessments.
• Respond to internal and external information requests related to portfolio accounts and credit transactions.
• Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, risk dashboards, and credit exposure analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses relating to portfolio trends, industry concentrations, and credit quality metrics.
• Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
