Job summary

Truist is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Analyst to join the team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves applying basic finance and accounting knowledge to analyze borrowers, assess risks, and support underwriting with oversight from senior staff.

You will engage in credit memoranda, covenant testing, and portfolio monitoring to help drive sound credit decisions. With a focus on adherence to credit policy, you will learn internal systems and processes while collaborating with Associates,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 0-1+ years of related financial services work experience
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
• Solid interpersonal skills
• High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
• Solid understanding of business, finance, and accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower financial statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
• Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and key risks impacting borrower performance.
• Prepare credit memoranda presenting transaction structure, risk assessment, mitigants, and clear credit recommendations.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance assessments.
• Respond to internal and external information requests related to portfolio accounts and credit transactions.
• Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, risk dashboards, and credit exposure analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses relating to portfolio trends, industry concentrations, and credit quality metrics.
• Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
