Job summary

Truist is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Analyst to support underwriting and portfolio management under senior guidance. This role develops skills in financial analysis, credit policy adherence, and risk administration while navigating internal systems and processes.

You will assist with credit memoranda, risk assessments, and covenant testing, gaining exposure to deals and client retention activities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–1+ years of related financial services work experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with teamwork mindset and high work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal skills and time management.
• Solid understanding of business, finance, and accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
• Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and risks.
• Prepare credit memoranda with structure, risk, mitigants, and recommendations.
• Conduct covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance reviews.
• Respond to internal/external information requests related to portfolios.
• Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, and credit exposure analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses on portfolio trends and credit quality metrics.
• Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
