Job summary

Truist is seeking an analyst for the Middle Market Credit Delivery team in Atlanta. The role involves learning credit policy, conducting detailed financial analysis, and supporting underwriting with supervision.

You will build skills in risk assessment, portfolio management, and client retention while coordinating with leaders and teammates. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and up to one year of financial services experience, with strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower financial statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
• Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and key risks impacting borrower performance.
• Prepare credit memoranda presenting transaction structure, risk assessment, mitigants, and clear credit recommendations.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance assessments.
• Respond to internal and external information requests related to portfolio accounts and credit transactions.
• Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, risk dashboards, and credit exposure analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses relating to portfolio trends, industry concentrations, and credit quality metrics.
• Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
